The Associação de Piercers Profissionais Portugal (APP-PT) is a non-profit association that aims to promote rights and share current information about the body piercing industry to its members, piercers, legislators, healthcare professionals and the general public.

APP-PT works to bring together, inform, and represent piercing professionals, contributing to a more conscious and responsible practice, aligned with current standards of hygiene, safety, and professional ethics.

One of the association’s main goals is to monitor the reality of the piercing sector in Portugal and contribute to the development of better legal, educational, and professional conditions. We aim to support a clearer dialogue between piercers, competent authorities, healthcare professionals, legislators, and the general public.

Through APP-PT’s annual Meeting, we bring leading national and international professionals to Portugal, creating a space for learning, sharing, and growth. Over four days, participants have access to theoretical classes, practical training sessions, and opportunities to connect with other professionals, strengthening the community and raising the standards of body piercing in Portugal.
